In the early morning of January 1st, Shawty Redd was at his home with another individuals who was not an intruder. An argument ensued in which this individual threatened violence against Shawty Redd. Shawty Redd felt his life was in jeopardy and retrieved his firearm for self-defense. As a result, the man that allegedly threatened him was shot and killed. Immediately, thereafter Shawty Redd went to the Henry County police Department and turned himself in.
Shawty Redd is schedule for arraignment at Henry County Jail. No bond has been issued.
